I'd been helping with the explosion efforts, but I wasn't certain it would work, or if it would happen before the water level rose higher than we could escape.

So... we are truly indebted to all of you working on the demolition. Once we'd achieved the sample, there was nothing left before us that might have gotten us outside. We could not have done it without you.
